WAY OF PAYMENT

To book a yacht a down payment of 30% of the total charter fee is required within a week from the booking confirmation. The remaining 70% must be paid five weeks before the departure date by bank transfer.

 

INCLUDED IN THE CHARTER

 

• VAT 12% of the charter fee
• The yacht and its equipment
• Linen (one set per cabin per week)
• Dinghy & outboard engine
• Gas bottle
• Yacht insurance

NOT INCLUDED

 

• Fuel
• Provisions
• Water
• Outboard gasoline
• Wi-fi router (20 GB, up to ten users, 100 euros per week)
• End cleaning (150-300 euros, depending on the yachts’ size)
• Mooring fees, (except for first and last charter day).

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

 

Skipper (200 euros per day + 24% VAT, plus meals)
Hostess (180 euros per day , plus meals)*

Cook (200 euros per day .plus meals)
Installment of safety net (250 euros)
Transfers (can be arranged upon request)
Provisions can be arranged upon request 
Gennaker (can be arranged upon request, 30 euros per day + a refundable security deposit of 600 euros)

*The crew are required to have their own cabin 

 SECURITY  DEPOSIT 

A refundable security deposit required (2500-3000 euros, depending on the size of the yacht), in case of an accident happening (with or without a third party being involved), loss of equipment or the late return of the yacht and is paid for on the spot.

 

DAMAGE WAIVER

Depending on the yachts’ size 20-50 euros must be paid per day (non-refundable), along with a refundable deposit of 500-600 euros, which will be refunded upon completion of the charter.

 

DAMAGE DEPOSIT ON SKIPPERED CHARTERS

On skippered charters, a damage waiver of 350 euros is required. It is non-refundable and covers any loss of equipment, or accident .

 

 INSURANCE 

All yachts are insured against all risks arising from liability to third parties and damages to the hull, machinery, sea pollution liability and the equipment with a deductible (excess), which corresponds to the agreed security damage deposit paid by the charterer.

 

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES

Charter contract begins at 17:00 on the day of the charter and checkout is at 09:00 on the last day of the charter.

*Please note the yacht should be returned to the base a day before the end of the charter contract,  at 18:00 for check-out procedure, (refueling of the boat, diver inspection, check-out).

 SAILING QUALIFICATIONS

The skipper must hold a valid sailing license in/or translated in English, according to Greek law.  

 

 CANCELLATION POLICY

In the case of cancellation  by the Charterer, for any reason, the following  policy  applies: 

 

•  More than 60 days prior to the date of embarkation: the cancellation fee amounts to 30% of the total charter fee.
• 60-30 days prior to the date of embarkation: the cancellation fee amounts to 50% of the total charter fee.
•  Less than 30 days prior to the date of embarkation: the cancellation fee amounts to 100% of the total charter fee
• If the chartered yacht is rechartered to another client on the same dates and under the same conditions, the cancellation fee only amounts to 200€ (file expenses)
